If you only have a limited amount of time to visit Split, Croatia here is the ultimate one-day itinerary that will cover everything you need plus more! Are you ready? Buckle up!
Split, Croatia is the second largest city in Croatia attracting millions of tourists every single year. Whether its stopping for a day trip before hitting the islands or digital nomads looking for a new summer base location. There is a huge range of people coming and going out of Split.
Below you will find the ultimate one-day itinerary with things to do, see, and places to eat at if you're crunched on time. Even if you arent, this itinerary can be expanded over days also!
morning: explore split's old town
Let's begin your day with a nice, fulfilling breakfast at Fig Restaurant. Plan on getting here early because this place is always busy and well-known! Fig is in the center of Old Town, perfect for the next thing on our list. Walk around and explore Old Town! Most people don't know this: the town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. As soon as you leave the restaurant, you'll be next to one of the most famous attractions, Sveti Duje Cathedral. Spend your morning getting lost down little alleyways and finding hidden local shops.
Afternoon: Go sailing on a party boat
Have you worked up an appetite after roaming around the palace walls? It's lunchtime, so start heading to Kantun Paulina for some local Cevapi. You won't be disappointed if you've never tried Cevapi. Now is your chance. Now that you've gotten all of your sightseeing out of the way (for now), it's time to change scenery. Board onto Split's biggest and wildest boat party. Out To Sea Split - Boat Party for a 5-hour party sailing on the Adriatic Sea. The views are nonstop, breath taking to the Blue Lagoon swim stop. Here, you'll jump in for a swim before heading back while watching the sunset vibing with your new friends.
evening: Dinner, gelato, and after parties
We know it's been a long day, but Split comes alive at night, and there are plenty you won't want to miss! So grab a coffee at a local bakery and wake up! There are plenty of places to grab a bite for dinner, but we recommend Fife. The dishes are large, affordable, and delicious. The best spot is next to the Riva, so you won't have to go far. After dinner comes .... a sweet treat! When in Europe, you'll have to grab some Gelato. There are gelato spots all around Old Town, but the best is either aRoma or Sladoledarnica Emiliana.
From here, you can call it a night, but if you have a little bit more in you, take advantage of the free VIP club entry you get with your Out To Sea - Boat Party ticket. Your wristband will get you free entry into one of Split's best clubs - Bacvice Beach Club.
And that is the ultimate one-day in Split, Croatia. You might leave tired and hungover but you will leave doing everything one should do while visiting this vibrant coastal city.
