Whether it's a cold winter day or a steaming hot summer evening in Europe, it's common to see people of all ages enjoying a sweet treat famously known as Gelato. Almost every street you walk down in Split, you'll come across a little shop with vibrant colors and flavors. The hardest part besides which flavor I should get is which gelato shop I should pick. So here is a list of three our team loves to help you narrow your search.
aROMA Gelato
A large gelato chain, but don't let that discourage you; you'll never be disappointed. There is a range of flavors, some changing daily, and it is always fun to try something new. We love the store layout because there's a front sign listing all the flavors.
Gelateria Emiliana
Gelateria Emiliana is more famous in Split. Almost every minute of the day, a large line of customers will be waiting to get a sweet treat. This shop gives meaning to the phrase "worth the wait" with high-quality ingredients and creamy texture. BRB while we run and grab a cup of strawberry.
Pozzetti Premium Ice Cream and Chimney Cones
This spot is a really fun shop! Not only will you find your ordinary gelato cones and cups, but they have a twist. Here, you can fill your Gelato up in a large chimney cone, which is doughy, almost like a churro cone. This option is a bit more pricey than the others, but it is worth it!
You won't find a bad gelato place while roaming the streets of Old Town Split, so get out there and start exploring this wonderful city, and as always, check out our other blogs to learn more!
